Max Hall and his fellow Baby Birds had one last chance to prove they are worth putting on the 53 man roster which gets paired down this weekend for NFL teams. The former Cougar QB had another chance to show he's got what it takes to play in the NFL and he did not disappoint. Getting the bulk of the offensive plays and once again playing behind the majority of the starting offensive line, Max Hall not only led all passers, but was one yard shy of leading all rushers in the game as well.

BYU officially announced its football independence today, and in the process revealed that the Cougars have entered into an eight-year agreement with ESPN to broadcast every BYU home football game beginning next season.

BYU is on its way to making a new home in the West Coast Conference so who are they exactly? The WCC is currently made up of 8 schools from California, Washington and Oregon, all of which are private and maintain religious affiliations, just like BYU.

BYU took control of its own destiny on Tuesday, announcing its independence in football and joining the West Coast Conference in all other sports beginning July 1, 2011.
