IN THE END ZONE — The winds have turned and the leaves have changed colors, which can only mean one thing.
Football is in full effect.
Here are some of our favorite moments from the weekend of football (and futbol, too), including a former BYU receiver’s first career NFL catch and a Rutgers receiver making a play you have to see to believe.

Squirrel scores best touchdown in Louisville
Reigning Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson threw for 299 yards and two touchdowns to lead Louisville to a 42-3 thumping of woeful Kent State on Saturday.
But the Cardinals’ offense didn’t compare to the greatest touchdown to the internet’s favorite touchdown — scored by a furry critter and given one of the great play-by-play calls.

He’s our favorite squirrel, too.
Leslie’s first catch with the Browns is legendary
Former BYU wide receiver Jordan Leslie is only about a week removed from sleeping on a friend’s couch in Chicago.
Last week, Leslie was called up to the practice squad with the Cleveland Browns. And on Sunday, he earned a spot on the Browns’ active roster prior to a 31-28 loss to Indianapolis.
He made quite the first impression, too, with an insanely athletic one-handed snag.

Maybe we’re going out on a limb, but it looks like Leslie won’t be sleeping on any couches for a while.
Hatch does it again
Former BYU soccer star Ashley Hatch is having quite the rookie season for the North Carolina Courage in the National Women’s Soccer League.
She isn’t stopping anytime soon.
Hatch scored her sixth goal of the season Sunday in a 1-1 draw with New Jersey’s Sky Blue FC. The Gilbert, Arizona, native can help the Courage clinch an NWSL regular-season championship Wednesday against the Houston Dash.

Rutgers WR catches pass with his butt
Nebraska football opened Big Ten play Saturday with a 27-17 win over Rutgers.
But the play of the game went to Scarlet Knight receiver Jerome Washington — and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better grab in all of Week 4 of college football.
Watch Washington catch a pass with his hands, drop it, pick it up with his feet, and hold the catch with his backside — all before the ball hits the ground.
Rutgers may have lost the game, but the Knights won the internet.
